Dr. Luong Thai Bao completed his PhD in Economics from Paris Nord University, France with the dissertation about developing countries’ growth, technology, and human capital.

He is serving as the Head of the Department of International Finance, Institute of Banking and Finance, National Economics University, Hanoi and always aims to promote the role of green finance in Vietnam.

He held the position of Professional Advisor of the Bachelor of Business Administration Program in English, E-BBA in 2009 – 2015 and Head of the Executive Board of the Bachelor of Financial Technology Program in 2020 – 2022 of National Economics University; Co-head of Fintech Village 2020 – 2023, Techfest Vietnam; and Co-Founder of Vietnam Corporate Governance Initiative (VCGI).
