Dr. Nguyen Thanh My established the Nguyen Thanh My Foundation in 2012 to fund hepatitis B prevention projects, provide university scholarships for talented disadvantaged students, and build houses for disadvantaged families in rural Vietnam. TS. Nguyen, originally from Travinh, is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Mylan Group. With the company, Dr. Nguyen has built dozens of houses, built bridges in rural areas and successfully implemented a cooperative education program. Dr. Nguyen seeks to improve the quality of life for even more people through the Foundation.

Dr. Nguyen holds a PhD in Energy and Materials from L’Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS) – Éner-gie, Matériaux et Télécommunication, Master of Science in Heterogeneous Catalysis and Bachelor of Science in Analytical Chemistry from Condordia University. Currently, Dr. Nguyen is the chairman of RYNAN Technologies Vietnam.
