He has extensive knowledge and experience in different fields of Vietnam market and Southeast Asia after many years of experience at senior management positions of top companies such as The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Prudential (UK), PNJ

During the period 2013-2017, Mr. Thong was the Founding Partner and Deputy CEO of The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Vietnam. He established strategy for BCG to penetrate the Vietnamese market and helped BCG become a strategic consulting partner for a series of government projects, leading corporations in many fields such as banking, insurance, oil and gas, energy, telecommunications, consumer, real estate, etc.

In addition to being a senior corporate manager, he is also an experienced private equity investor (PE) and venture capitalist (VC) with a portfolio of international and Vietnamese companies and startups, focusing on the areas of deep technology (deep-tech), financial technology (fintech), new materials technology, applied information technology …
