MR. AARON JAMES EVERHART

After an early career in branding strategy for clients such as FedEx, Frito-Lay, HP, and AT&T as a creative staff at global agencies Landor and Grey, Aaron moved to Vietnam in 2005 as a foreign investor.

In 2013, Aaron founded HATCH! Ventures which helped kickstart Vietnam’s startup ecosystem. The program doubled in size annually, serving founders with incubation, mentorship, and fund matching. HATCH! was acquired by Draper Startup House in 2021.

Draper Startup House is part of the Draper Venture Network, led by Timothy Cook Draper, the storied US venture capitalist. Tim is an early investor in Baidu, Hotmail, Skype, Tesla, SpaceX, Twitter, Coinbase, and Robinhood. Draper is not new to Vietnam: DFJ VinaCapital Fund (DFJV), established in 2006, was one of the first venture capital funds in the country.
