Mr. Ho Duc Hoan not only successfully started a business, he is also known as a person who ‘inspires’ passion for starting a business for young people.

Some other notable achievements he has achieved:

• He was the only Vietnamese startup representative invited by Hebronstar (Korea) to present at the Asian startup connection event in Jakarta, Indonesia. It was one of the largest startup events in Asia, gathering hundreds of the best startups to attend (2018).
• Elected Vice President of the Young Southeast Asian Entrepreneur Network Development Program (YEN-D), this is an organization sponsored by the Thai Ministry of Commerce to connect young entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia. (2018)
• Participate in a dialogue on the start-up support program with the Prime Minister and ministers (Techfest 2018). He was also the keynote speaker at the national “Young Leaders” forum in 2018.
• Received certificates of merit and medals from more than 50 clubs and teams nationwide (2018).
• To own one of the Edtech units (education startups) receiving investment in 2018.
• In March 2017, Mr. Hoan was honored to be invited by Reuters, the world’s largest news agency to be the main character to share about starting a business in Vietnam. In addition, he was also 1 of 2 startups representing Vietnam to present at the APEC O2O Meeting in front of hundreds of international businesses in September 2017.
• Won first prize in the national startup contest (Startup Wheel 2016).
• Won second prize in the Hatch 2016 – An international startup contest.
• Selected by IPP (Finnish Innovation Organization), as one of Vietnam’s representatives to attend the world’s largest startup forum – SLUSH (2016)

Returning to Vietnam to implement a start-up model after studying in Finland and France, Mr. Hoan established a company in Ho Chi Minh City, with the main goal, is to create a community, where predecessors share and evaluate the quality of the training units through Edu2Review software (the software won the first prize in the Startup Wheel 2016 contest). The platform provides and receives feedback on an important source of information for those who follow to consult before making a decision to choose which educational institution to choose before studying.

Within 3 years of operation, Edu2Review has had nearly 100,000 bookings with a growth rate of 3 times per year, making Edu2Review one of the leading edtech startups in the country.
