Mr. Tharanut Koonyotying is a Thai career diplomat with experiences in the field economic diplomacy. He is currently the head of economic section at the Royal Thai Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, where he leads the team at the Business Information Center. Tharanut is responsible for providing Thai investors and their business partners with information on the Vietnamese market, as well as facilitating trade and investment relations between Thailand and Vietnam. Tharanut is a dynamic and innovative diplomat who is committed to promoting Thai trade and investment in Vietnam as well as strengthen innovation diplomacy between the two countries.
He has recently introduced a number of Thai startups from the Thai Startup Association to the Vietnamese market. He is passionate about helping Thai startups succeed in Vietnam and believes that the two countries have a lot to offer each other in terms of trade and investment.
