MR. THIEU PHUONG NAM

Mr. Thieu Phuong Nam is responsible for overseeing Qualcomm's business and operations in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia to promote the use of 4G, 5G, and next-generation connectivity technologies.

Before joining Qualcomm, he was the Regional Managing Director, General Sales for IBM Vietnam, in charge of a wide range of business investment areas including banking and financial services, telecommunications, corporate, education, etc. education, health and government. In addition, he holds the position of Branch Manager in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, responsible for all aspects of the branch's business and operations. Before joining IBM, Mr. Thieu Phuong Nam worked for 12 years at Intel Vietnam. He joined as Head of Communications and Transactions at Intel Vietnam and during his tenure held various leadership and management positions, including Country Sales Manager at Intel Vietnam. Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia as well as Country Director for Cambodia. As one of the few who laid the groundwork for Intel in the country, Mr. Thieu Phuong Nam has led Intel's business to become one of the fastest growing worldwide by promoting drive several strategic initiatives with government agencies and OEMs & ecosystem partners to increase adoption of information and communication technology in business, consumer, government sectors and education.

Mr. Thieu Phuong Nam received his bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from Saint Petersburg National Electrotechnical University and his doctorate in engineering science from Moscow State University of Transport.
