Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Dung, the Chief Representative, had been 7 years working for Office for Science and Technology, in Vietnam General Consulate in San Francisco (2013-2020) with Missions as:

– Promote science and technology cooperation with the engagement of American partners and science ex-pats by organizing visits, meetings, and events.

– Enhance scientific breakthroughs, investments and innovations in key domains by networking with academic people, agencies, scientific associations, think tanks and other R&D decision-making circles.

– Sustain existing scientific partnerships, grow new partnerships by organizing visits of experts and seminars on common interest topics; promote annual calls of the Vietnam-US joint endowments or funds.

– Foster startups mobility and Ventures capital from Silicon Valley to Vietnam.

– Still do academic research work on innovation policy and management.

Previously, Ms. Ngoc Dung was the Head of the Postgraduate Training and Documentary Information Department at the Academy of Science, Technology and Innovation

Currently, Ms. Ngoc Dung is Senior Express for Entrepreneurship – Innovation Ecosystem (NIC) under the Ministry of  Planning and Investment. Ms. Ngoc Dung is an advisor and mentor for startups from Silicon Valley, an early-stage angel investor for startups. Vice Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Information Technology Garden of Hanoi City.
