Ms. Tran Phuong Ngoc Thao
Board Member, Head of ESG Committee at Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ)
Ms. Tran Phuong Ngoc Thao is currently a Board Member, Head of ESG Committee (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) at Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ). She held the position of Director of Digital Transformation at PNJ for the period 2020-2021.
With 15 years of living, studying and working in many countries: UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand… Ms. Thao brings many multi international perspectives into corporate governance and operations. Before joining PNJ, Ms. Thao held the position of Manager at ANZ Banking Group, Melbourne, Australia; Project Management Director of Dong A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Vietnam; and Lecturer at University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
She is also actively involved in social activities and the business community. Currently, she is a Member of the Executive Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Young Business Association (YBA), Chairman of Tan Son Nhat YBA Branch, and a Member of the Executive Committee of The Ho Chi Minh City Association for Women Executives and Entrepreneurs (HAWEE).
She holds a BA in Economics and Administration from Oxford University (UK), an MBA from London Business School (UK), and a PhD in Economics from Harvard University (USA).
