 Young Wook Kim, Ph.D., is the creator of TROMATZWAVE® technology and the Founder & CEO of ProxiHealthcare Inc., which has its headquarters in Seoul, South Korea.

Innovator and avid problem solver, Dr. Kim combined his passion for medicine and engineering, integrating the two during his academic career. Completed medical school 3 years, received B.S. from Seoul National University, Korea and M.S./Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, USA in 2014.

During his years of doctoral research at the University of Maryland, Kim developed a new technology that harnesses the power of microcurrent electromagnetic waves to remove biofilms. The technology has been successfully commercialized as a bioelectric toothbrush which is the world 1st gum plaque removal brush.
