On October 25, 2026, InnoEx, AICAP Group, and the China Robot Industry Development Alliance (CDRA) established a strategic cooperation agreement to connect Vietnam–China technology and robotics industry resources, accelerate technology adoption, expand commercialization opportunities, and foster the development of Vietnam’s robotics ecosystem.
Through this collaboration, the parties aim to strengthen connections between international technology companies and Vietnam’s business community, research institutes, and universities. The partnership also seeks to expand access to robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, contributing to improved productivity and business competitiveness.

Attending the event were Ms. Truong Ly Hoang Phi – Founder & Chairwoman of InnoEx; Founder, Chairwoman of the Board & CEO of IBP; and Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Businesspeople Association (YBA); and Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Hang – CEO of InnoEx and Vice Chairwoman of YBA, alongside representatives from organizations, businesses, and partners across the Vietnam–China robotics technology ecosystem.
Connecting Vietnam–China Innovation Ecosystems and Expanding the Robotics Market
As robotics, automation, and AI play an increasingly important role in industrial transformation, connecting technology with real-world business needs is essential to accelerating the adoption and commercialization of innovative solutions.
Through this strategic partnership, InnoEx, AICAP Group, and CDRA aim to bridge manufacturers, technology developers, solution integrators, and businesses in Vietnam. The collaboration is expected to create new opportunities for trade promotion, investment connections, and business partnerships in the robotics sector.
The partnership focuses on three strategic priorities:
- Robotics Market Development: Connecting Vietnamese businesses with international manufacturers, technology developers, and partners to promote trade, investment, and market expansion.
- Technology Adoption and Commercialization: Supporting businesses in accessing, testing, and deploying robotics, automation, and AI solutions that meet practical operational needs.
- Talent and Technology Capability Development: Strengthening collaboration among businesses, research institutes, and universities in Vietnam and China through training, expert exchanges, applied research, and the development of highly skilled talent.
These priorities establish a foundation for connecting technology, market opportunities, and human resources while helping bring robotics solutions from research into practical applications.
Four Key Cooperation Programs to Advance the Robotics Industry
To progressively realize these strategic objectives, the parties plan to explore and implement four initial cooperation programs.
1. Robotics Industry Forum Series
A series of industry forums and seminars designed to connect technology users, robotics manufacturers, solution providers, and integration partners. The program will focus on technology showcases, implementation insights, and robotics applications across manufacturing, logistics, commerce, and services.
2. Robotics & Embodied AI Pavilion at InnoEx 2027
A dedicated exhibition space connecting international robotics and Embodied AI companies with Vietnam’s innovation ecosystem. The pavilion is expected to showcase emerging technologies, facilitate B2B networking, and promote investment, business partnerships, and commercialization opportunities.

3. Vietnam Robotics Hackathon
A practical innovation program connecting students, engineers, young researchers, and startups to develop robotics solutions addressing real-world challenges. The initiative aims to foster technological innovation, nurture talent, and strengthen collaboration between academia and industry.
4. Robotics Industry – University Innovation Program
A Vietnam–China collaboration initiative connecting businesses, research institutes, and universities in training, expert exchanges, applied research, software development, and robotics integration. The program also seeks to explore opportunities for technology transfer and the commercialization of research outcomes.
InnoEx: Connecting Technology with Commercialization Opportunities
As a platform connecting businesses, investors, and organizations across the innovation ecosystem, InnoEx aims to facilitate partnerships that create practical value for businesses and markets.
Through its collaboration with AICAP Group and CDRA, initiatives spanning market development, technology exhibitions, hackathons, and university partnerships are expected to reinforce one another and build a multidimensional network of cooperation in the robotics sector.
In particular, InnoEx 2027 is envisioned as an important platform for international technology companies to showcase solutions, identify strategic partners, and explore business opportunities in Vietnam. At the same time, Vietnamese businesses will have greater opportunities to access advanced technologies, exchange expertise, and identify solutions aligned with their development strategies.

The partnership between InnoEx, AICAP Group, and CDRA goes beyond expanding the robotics market. It also emphasizes technology adoption, talent development, and stronger collaboration between industry, research, and education.
In the long term, these connections are expected to contribute to the growth of Vietnam’s robotics industry, expand Vietnam–China cooperation, and create new momentum for innovation, technological transformation, and business competitiveness.
