On July 10, 2026, 11 enterprises from the Top 50 Green Innovation Accelerator 2026, together with representatives from InnoEx and strategic partner Rabo Foundation, participated in a Field Trip to AB InBev Vietnam Brewery at VSIP II-A Industrial Park, Binh Duong Province. The visit formed part of the Acceleration Phase of the program, offering participants firsthand insights into the sustainable operations of one of the world’s leading brewing companies.
As one of AB InBev’s two breweries in Vietnam and among the global network of 55 state-of-the-art Budweiser production facilities, the VSIP II-A brewery demonstrates how sustainability, circular economy principles, and innovation can be embedded into day-to-day manufacturing operations. The visit enabled participating enterprises to observe production processes firsthand while gaining a deeper understanding of how ESG commitments are translated into operational excellence, governance practices, and long-term business strategy.
During the program, participants attended presentations by Mr. Vu Chi Hai, Brewery Director of AB InBev VSIP, and Ms. Lan Tran, Southeast Asia Procurement & Sustainability Director. They shared AB InBev’s sustainability journey, highlighting initiatives in resource management, water stewardship, circular packaging, and sustainable supply chain development – key pillars supporting the company’s global sustainability ambitions.
A key highlight of the Field Trip was the open discussion session between AB InBev’s leadership team and participating enterprises. The dialogue explored practical challenges in implementing circular economy models, sustainable procurement standards, collaboration opportunities with startups and SMEs, and the integration of innovative solutions into large-scale manufacturing. The discussion provided valuable perspectives on how sustainability is embedded across operational processes and partnerships throughout the value chain.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Truong Ly Hoang Phi, Chairwoman of InnoEx & IBP, emphasized that the Field Trip was designed to help participating enterprises gain practical insights from leading sustainable manufacturing models while strengthening ecosystem connections and fostering collaboration opportunities between innovative startups, SMEs, and global corporations driving the green transition.
The Field Trip to AB InBev Vietnam represents one of a series of experiential learning activities throughout the Acceleration Phase of Green Innovation Accelerator 2026. By connecting knowledge with real-world business practices, the program equips participating enterprises with practical experience, expands collaboration opportunities, and strengthens their capacity to develop and scale innovative solutions for sustainable growth.
The Organizing Committee of Green Innovation Accelerator 2026 extends its sincere appreciation to AB InBev Vietnam for hosting the delegation and sharing valuable operational insights, contributing to a meaningful learning experience for participating enterprises on their green transformation journey.
