The International Innovation Alliance InnoEx and Rabo Foundation – Rabobank’s independent impact foundation – have officially established a strategic partnership under the Green Innovation Accelerator 2026 program. Through this collaboration, the two organizations aim to foster innovation and enhance access to green finance for agricultural enterprises in Vietnam, contributing to the development of sustainable agricultural value chains that are climate-resilient and aligned with increasingly stringent international standards.
InnoEx is an international innovation alliance established to connect corporations, startups, investors, experts, and innovation support organizations across Vietnam and around the world. Built upon nearly two decades of experience in innovation and ecosystem development by its founding team, InnoEx has developed a network spanning more than 60 countries and territories, connecting over 25,000 members, including corporations, SMEs, startups, and investment funds through innovation promotion, investment facilitation, and technology transfer initiatives. Its flagship annual event, InnoEx, is recognized as one of Vietnam’s leading international innovation forums, attracting more than 30,000 visits and bringing together prominent corporations, investors, and development organizations from across the region.
On the partner side, Rabo Foundation is the social impact investment foundation of Rabobank. Rabobank is the largest agricultural bank in the Netherlands, with a history of more than 125 years, and is the country’s second-largest financial institution by total assets. Operating in 38 countries, Rabobank manages a global Food & Agriculture financing portfolio worth tens of billions of euros. Through Rabo Foundation, the bank delivers impact investments, financial support, and capacity-building programs for farmer organizations, cooperatives, and agribusinesses worldwide, helping them strengthen financial self-reliance, increase income opportunities, and build more sustainable agricultural value chains.
The partnership between InnoEx and Rabo Foundation comes at a time when the global agricultural sector is undergoing a profound transformation driven by sustainability requirements, emissions reduction commitments, traceability demands, and supply chain accountability standards. For Vietnam, agriculture remains one of the most important pillars of the economy. In 2025, the country’s agricultural, forestry, and fisheries exports surpassed USD 70 billion for the first time, underscoring the sector’s growing importance in global trade. Despite this strong growth potential, many agricultural enterprises continue to face significant challenges in strengthening governance systems, improving data transparency, meeting sustainability requirements, and accessing suitable financial resources to scale their operations.
Through Green Innovation Accelerator 2026, InnoEx and Rabo Foundation will jointly implement initiatives designed to strengthen enterprise capabilities, support the adoption of sustainability standards, and facilitate connections with international experts, strategic partners, and relevant financial resources. The program will also provide participating businesses with access to global best practices and practical knowledge in sustainable agriculture, innovation, and value chain development.
By combining InnoEx’s strengths in innovation ecosystem building and stakeholder engagement with Rabo Foundation’s global expertise in impact finance, the partnership is expected to create a practical support platform for Vietnamese agricultural enterprises on their green transition journey. Beyond supporting individual businesses, the collaboration seeks to contribute to the long-term modernization of Vietnam’s agricultural sector, enhance international competitiveness, and generate positive economic, social, and environmental impacts for communities across the country.
Green Innovation Accelerator 2026 is currently entering its final application phase and welcomes applications from enterprises, cooperatives, and organizations operating across the agricultural value chain that are committed to sustainable development and business growth.
