Jonathan Saw is the Australian Trade & Investment Commissioner to Vietnam & Cambodia with the Australian Trade & Investment Commission (Austrade).
He has over a decade of international business experience, driving Australia’s engagement with Asia in both the public and private sector across a wide range of industry sectors including international education – Australia’s fourth largest export.
His current public service career involves supporting Australian businesses in their export and international expansion journey as well as facilitating productive foreign direct investment into Australia to drive economic prosperity and jobs growth.
Jonathan received an Australia Day Achievement Medallion in 2020 with Austrade for his strong commitment towards client servicing and contribution towards Austrade’s digital transformation. He was also recognised in the ‘122 Asian-Australians of 2022’ with Being Asian Australian & Asian Australian Alliance, and in the ‘40 Under 40: Most Influential Asian-Australians Awards’ at the 2020 Asian-Australian Leadership Summit.
Jonathan holds a Master of Business Administration with the Australian Institute of Business and a Bachelor of International Business from the University of South Australia.
