Ms. Nguyen Phi Van graduated with an MBA in Australia. She has held senior positions in brand management, retail, franchising & business development for large corporations in the Asia, Middle East, Africa & Eastern Europe markets.
Ms. Phi Van has participated in many government projects on business development & creative economy in Southeast Asia, is currently an advisor to Project 844 on developing the Vietnamese startup ecosystem, chair of the Southeast Asia Angel Investment Network, and a senior representative of Vietnam at the Global Angel Investment Forum.
In addition, she is also an investor with a portfolio of 34 companies. Ms. Phi Van has won the 2015 International Retail Leadership Excellence Award from the Global Retail Association, the 2017 & 2018 100 Global Retail Leaders Award, and the 2019 ASEAN Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and was listed in the Top 100 Most Influential Women in the Global Franchising Industry in 2019 & 2020.
Ms. Phi Van is the author of many books in English & Vietnamese including Franchising Startup – A Short Path to the World which won the 2019 Management Book Award, Carrying the Load Across the Country to the World, Go Global – An MSME Guide to Global Franchising, I, the Future & the World, I’m Looking for Me, Nym – I of the Future, Opening the Future and most recently, Go Global – A Practical Guide to Live, Work and Shine Globally.
