Nguyen Thi Thu Ha

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha currently serves as an Impact Finance Consultant for Rabo Foundation in Vietnam. In this capacity, she works with enterprises, cooperatives and organizations across the food and agriculture value chain, connecting impact-oriented businesses with financing, expertise and relevant partners within Rabo Foundation’s network.

In Vietnam, Ms. Ha connects Rabo Foundation with agricultural enterprises, financial institutions and local development partners. The official guide for the 2024 Netherlands Economic Mission to Vietnam stated that Rabo Foundation was seeking to provide working capital to Vietnamese SMEs, cooperatives and institutions across agricultural commodity value chains, particularly organizations pursuing climate-smart business growth.

She also contributes to building and maintaining relationships with locally based impact enterprises. During a Rabo Foundation visit marking 50 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Netherlands, Ms. Ha organized a session in which local SMEs presented their businesses, financing needs and development challenges. The delegation also visited agricultural enterprises and microfinance partners including DACE, DATO and TYM to understand their work with smallholder farmers and underserved communities.

Ms. Ha regularly participates in forums connecting investors with social enterprises and sustainability-oriented businesses. At the Vietnam Impact Investing Summit 2025, she joined an investor–investee dialogue as Rabo Foundation’s Impact Finance Consultant, sharing practical experience from the Foundation’s partnerships with agricultural enterprises in Vietnam.

Her work also emphasizes financial readiness, transparent value chains and access to international markets. In comments on Vietnam’s spice industry published in early 2026, she noted that spices—particularly organic products—have significant export potential, while emphasizing the need for stronger supply chains, production transparency, traceability and compliance with origin and quality requirements.

Before moving into impact finance, Ms. Ha developed extensive expertise in accounting and corporate finance. Her public professional profile records 15 years of experience as a professional accountant at KPMG Vietnam from 1995 to 2010. This background provides a strong foundation for financial assessment, risk analysis and supporting businesses seeking capital for sustainable growth.
