Nguyen Van Giap
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Giap Nguyen is Country General Manager of Lenovo Vietnam, responsible for Lenovo’s overall business operation in Vietnam across commercial and consumer segments, focusing on building the fundamental pillars on talent development as well as overseeing the strong relationships with key channel partners, and Enterprise Customers to provide the best products and services to market.
Prior to Lenovo, Giap was Country Head, Small and Medium Enterprise for Microsoft Vietnam. His 8-year roles at Microsoft, included Head of Retail Sales & Marketing and MNA OEM Partner Manager. Before that, he worked for Cisco Systems in Vietnam with various management roles including Business Manager and Sales Manager.
Giap graduated his full-time MBA from Leeds University Business School in the UK with distinction thesis in Strategy, Sales & Marketing. Besides, he also went through Executive Education from INSEAD, London Business School, Wharton joint programs with Microsoft. He got the BSC of Computer Science from Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh – Bach Khoa University.
