Vu Chi Cong

Cong is the Head of ESG at VinaCapital, a leading investment manager in Vietnam. He has great experience working on ESG and sustainability issues for businesses in Vietnam. He is particularly interested in exploring ways enterprises can benefit and create added values from implementing sustainable practices by reducing production costs and minimizing wastes. Cong has strong understanding of international good practice standards on environmental and social performance for businesses. Currently, Cong is leading the newly established Climate Impact Fund at VinaCapital which aims to invest in carbon credit businesses. Cong holds a master’s degree of Environmental Management from Flinders University and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering of Environmental Technology and Management from Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
