On the morning of January 12, 2026, ahead of the official working session with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Hoang Minh and his delegation held a strategic meeting with the leadership of BSSC and InnoEx. The visit underscores the Ministry’s commitment to private sector-led innovation models.

Deputy Minister Hoang Minh’s visit takes place as Ho Chi Minh City actively implements specific policy mechanisms (Resolution 98) to bolster the national startup and innovation ecosystem.

The Deputy Minister’s decision to meet with BSSC and InnoEx prior to the formal session at the Department of Science and Technology is not only a significant encouragement but also highlights the vital role of startup support organizations and international forums in advising and executing the Ministry’s strategic orientations.

InnoEx & BSSC: Bridging Policy and Practice

During the meeting, the leadership of InnoEx and BSSC reported on their achievements in connecting the business community, startups, and international investment funds.

InnoEx continues to affirm its position as a regional-scale innovation forum, transforming technological initiatives into tangible economic value.
BSSC maintains its core role in incubating, accelerating, and providing resources for Vietnamese startups to compete globally.

Deputy Minister Hoang Minh highly appreciated the proactivity of BSSC and InnoEx in mobilizing social resources for innovation. He emphasized that models like InnoEx serve as an “extended arm,” helping the Ministry of Science and Technology’s policies reach the market more rapidly and effectively.

Towards Close Public-Private Collaboration

Kết thúc buổi trao đổi, Thứ trưởng Hoàng Minh kỳ vọng BSSC và InnoEx sẽ tiếp tục phát huy vai trò dẫn dắt, cùng với Sở KH&CN TP.HCM tạo nên một hệ sinh thái ĐMST đồng bộ, lấy doanh nghiệp và startup làm trung tâm của sự phát triển.
