InnoEx 2025 – Shaping the Future Economy: From Data to Digital Assets
Ho Chi Minh City, August 21, 2025 – 4,000 CEOs and founders, 300 exhibiting companies, over 100 startups, and 70 investment funds from more than 60 countries will join the InnoEx 2025 – Southeast Asia’s Premier Innovation Forum and Exhibition.
Vietnam – A Bright Spot in the Global Economy
While major economies face persistent headwinds, Vietnam has emerged as a resilient bright spot. In the first half of 2025, GDP grew 7.52%, with Q2 growth reaching 7.96% – the highest in 15 years. The digital economy now stands at USD 36 billion, accounting for over 18% of GDP, and is projected to contribute 30–35% by 2030.
Against this backdrop, the International Innovation Forum & Exhibition – InnoEx 2025 officially opened this morning at ThiskyHall Sala, Ho Chi Minh City. With the theme “Shaping the Future Economy: From Data to Digital Assets”, InnoEx has established itself as a landmark platform where policy meets market and innovation translates into real economic value.
The event is jointly organized by the Young Businesspeople Association of Ho Chi Minh City (YBA), the Business Startup Support Center (BSSC), and Investment & Business Partners (IBP), under the patronage of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.
Unprecedented Scale
InnoEx 2025 is set to welcome more than 30,000 visitors, including 4,000 CEOs and founders, 300 exhibitors, over 100 startups, and 70 investment funds representing 60+ countries. Far beyond a trade show, InnoEx is a call to action for the business community to embrace innovation as a driver of growth.
Where Policy Meets Market
InnoEx 2025 reflects the strong alignment between the government and the private sector. It is built upon Vietnam’s Four Strategic Resolutions (57, 59, 66, 68) and the newly amended Law on Science & Technology, providing a foundation for innovation, international integration, and private sector development.
Ms. Trần Thị Diệu Thúy, Vice Chairwoman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, emphasized:
“In the context of global digital transformation, the green economy, and sustainable development, the International Forum and Exhibition on Innovation (InnoEx) carries special significance. This is not only an event to showcase technological solutions but also a platform for meeting, connecting, and spreading the spirit of innovation, especially among young innovators.
InnoEx has increasingly affirmed its role as a convergence point for the business community, technology enterprises, investment funds, and international experts who are keen on creative ideas from young startups. The event opens up new opportunities for collaboration and contributes to fostering the city’s innovation ecosystem.
Therefore, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City affirms its commitment to accompanying InnoEx during the 2025–2028 period, with the goal of making it a signature brand closely associated with Ho Chi Minh City, the startup movement, and the innovative mindset of the city’s young generation.”
A Global Perspective – Qualcomm’s Commitment
Global corporations also recognize Vietnam’s growing role in the innovation landscape. A representative of Qualcomm, which recently inaugurated its third-largest AI R&D Center worldwide in Ho Chi Minh City, shared:
“With more than two decades in Vietnam, Qualcomm has witnessed Vietnam’s relentless journey to become a regional innovation hub. The theme of InnoEx reflects our core mission, The future will not be defined by who has the most data, but by who can transform it into valuable products, services, and intellectual property. Through programs like the Qualcomm Innovation Challenge, we provide a launchpad for innovators and startups to do just that. This collaborative effort serves a bridge for Vietnamese enterprises to access global standards and knowledge.”
